Digital Simulation of Building Performance - QA
Submitted by qa_admin_07 on Sun, 06/01/2008 - 17:06.This web site makes the case for the provision of Quality Assurance systems online. The proposal is that reliable simulations that predict what reality might be in new building designs require roadmaps to:
Building Performance Simulation Quality Assurance - database
Submitted by the_donn on Mon, 06/04/2007 - 20:31.A Quality Assurance process for building environment simulation is essential to develop sufficient trust in the simulation that it will be used for design decision support. Central to this Quality Assurance process is a set of Quality Control procedures including a simulation 'truth' test and a database of material and component properties. The 'truth' test assesses the reality of the e-building constructed with the simulation.

Simulation of Imagined Realities
Submitted by the_donn on Wed, 01/09/2008 - 17:28.What is proposed in aecsimqa is Quality Assurance (QA) procedures for designers and simulationists that eventually will be codified and incorporated into the environmental design decision support tools (eddst’s) themselves. These procedures are to ensure that the ‘black box’ of a digital simulation of building performance yields information that designers feel they can trust.
